Replacing a laptop fan?

Advice and help is below or select the manufacturer of your laptop to find the correct laptop fan:

Faulty or failing laptop fans are probably the number one reason for laptop main board failures, as the machine overheats and components become damaged.

Laptop fans slowly wear out over time. If your fan is noisy, or has stopped working altogether it may need replacement. Very often you'll notice that the machine is running very slowly.

Should you attempt to replace the fan yourself?  Many customers do but we can either supply a new fan or replace the fan for you - to get an idea of total cost we've listed our standard repair chargers below.
